Areas

Areas

On a specific Site’s page, you can view, create and manage your Areas.

An Area is a collection of Terminals. They are used to organise your Terminals in a cohesive manner: for example, you may create a ‘Ground floor’ Area, where you keep the Terminals that are used on the ground floor of your Site. You can think of them like folders on your PC.

1.1 Adding an Area

To create an Area, click the New Area button in the top right-hand corner of the page:[FP1]

You will then need to name the Area by typing a name into the text box that appears, and then press enter or click Create.

 1.2 Managing Areas

The main section of the Site’s page displays a list of your current Areas. They are displayed in alphabetical order.

Each Area has its own box within the list. In each box, the Area has a name, a list of the Terminals it contains, as well as buttons to add Terminals and edit the Area.

Clicking the Edit button allows you to rename the Area or delete them by clicking the Delete Area button. If you make any changes, make sure you click to Save.

Note: only Areas with no Terminals can be deleted. If you wish to delete these areas, you will need to delete the Terminal(s) or move them to another Area.
