Wiegand 36-bit

Joe Julian Updated by Joe Julian

Wiegand 36-bit provides an alternative format for extracting data from cards, where the data is encoded into 36 bits, comprising eight digits encoded into 4 bits each, followed by a 4-bit parity value.

This is likely only to be required if you had existing MFxxx or ACxxx units which were set up to read using the Wieg36 configuration.
