Louise Whalley Updated by Louise Whalley

This page outlines the new functionality included in the Firmware release 2.10.0 available to download from Wednesday 4th June 2025

Mobile clocking with the OneAdvanced People App

What have we done?

This update lets employees clock in or out directly from their personal Android or iOS devices, eliminating the need for RFID cards or storing biometrics in the cloud. Employees can use the biometrics stored on their own mobile device to login to the People app, allowing for a seamless and secure experience, whilst giving them more control over their personal data.

Why have we done this?

To extend our current device authentication offering to include Android and IOS devices.

How will you benefit?

This change will allow users an increased flexibility around their data storage and clocking methods with our devices.

Why have we done this?

To ensure firmware upgrades are completed successfully.

How will you benefit?

Successful firmware upgrades.

Details of the change

We have reproduced an issue where during the “backup” phase of the upgrade, the watchdog would trigger a reboot during a copy operation. We have made a change to disable the watchdog first allowing the copy operation to succeed prior to the upgrade successfully completing.
