T2 UPS Solution
The T2 clocking terminal can be protected from an unstable mains supply with an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS). When there is a break in the mains supply, the UPS will use its battery to maintain continuous power delivery to the T2.
Using the T2 Terminal with the OneAdvanced UPS
Customers will need one UPS per T2 terminal that needs protecting. While the battery lasts, the T2 will continue to be fully functional during an outage. If the network connection is affected, clockings will be uploaded to the cloud when connectivity is restored.
PoE Our UPS solution replaces the T2’s normal mains power supply.
For terminals that are powered using Power over Ethernet (PoE), the customer should look to protect their network’s power supply to maintain continuous service.
